diesel engine option with the all-new Civic. The diesel

variants of the Civic will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged

diesel engine that was launched with the all-new CR-V in the Indian market. It produces a maximum of 120 PS at 4,000 rpm and 300 Nm at 2,000 rpm. The diesel engine only gets a 6-speed manual transmission.

Honda has




revealed the fuel efficiency of the

upcoming Civic. The petrol engine with automatic transmission

returns a maximum of 16.5

diesel versions with

the manual transmission offer a maximum fuel efficiency of 26.8
